‘Midterm’ Series Surpasses One Billion Views

 

The series Midterm has successfully surpassed the one billion views mark after just 23 episodes, achieving huge success and generating significant reactions, exceeding one billion views across official platforms on WATCH IT and ON pages on various social media networks.

 

Midterm is an Egyptian youth social drama presented in collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the United Media Services. The series explores the lives of Egyptian and Arab university students and addresses the psychological and social issues of youth, which resonated strongly with the younger generation.

 

The series was written by the Barah Workshop for Mohamed Sadek, directed by Mariam El-Bagoury, and produced by United Studios. Its cast includes Yasmina El Abed, Ziad Zaza, Gala Hesham, Youssef Raafat, Donia Wael, Adham Omar, Omnia Bahy, Mariam Karam, Maurice Moody, Islam Khaled, Mohamed Nayef, and Seif Mohsen, alongside several guest stars such as Hany Adel, Ahmed Azmy, Fedra, Sherif Khairallah, Hossam Faris, and Amira El-Aidi.

 

Its daily episodes topped social media platforms during and after airing, and the series also led Google search trends and ranked among the most-watched content on WATCH IT and Shahid platforms. It continues to be widely discussed on social media for successfully bringing Gen Z’s voice and reality to the screen.
