Official Trailer Unveiled for “Gawaza Wala Ganaza” Ahead of January 7 Theatrical Release

 

Ahead of its theatrical release on January 7 in cinemas across Egypt and January 8 throughout the Arab world, the Union of Video and Filmmakers has released the official trailer for Gawaza Wala Ganaza (Wedding Rehearsal), directed by Amira Diab.

 

The film marks Amira Diab’s feature-length directorial debut and is written by Diab alongside Dina Maher. Blending drama, social romance, and comedy, Gawaza Wala Ganaza promises a fresh Arab cinematic experience that appeals to a broad, diverse audience.

 

Set within a comedic and suspenseful social framework of rich in irony, the story follows two families with nothing in common except an impending marriage.

 

 

 

Forced to spend seven days together in a picturesque destination, tensions and humor unfold as they prepare for a lavish wedding set to unite their children.

 

 

The film stars Nelly Karim, Sherif Salama, Lebleba, Lebanese actor Adel Karam, Entessar, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Amir Salah El-Din, and Donia Maher, alongside a distinguished ensemble cast.
