Filming has officially wrapped for the highly anticipated film Ezma, written and directed by Mohamed Sadek.
Adapted from Sadek’s bestselling novel of the same name, Ezma brings to life an inspiring story of self-discovery and emotional healing. The film features an exceptional ensemble cast led by Ahmed Dawood, Salma Abu Deif, Passant Shawky, Jessica Hossam El Din, and Hamza Diab, delivering emotionally charged performances across two intertwined timelines.
The story follows Issa El Shawaf, a man living a dull life after his separation, whose world changes completely on his birthday when he reconnects with his childhood friend Sira. She gives him old videotapes he recorded as a teenager, messages from his younger self containing specific instructions that he must follow to rediscover who he truly is.
