From drama to reality, and in light of the series Karsa Tabeya (Natural Disaster) and Mohamed and Shorouk’s meeting with the Minister of Social Solidarity to present their requests in the series, the Ministry of Social Solidarity invites any family with septuplets to meet the Minister of Social Solidarity at 1:30 p.m. on a later date.
The meeting will be held at the Ministry of Social Solidarity headquarters in the Government District in the New Capital.
“Karsa Tabeya” blends social drama with light comedy, making it instantly relatable to many Egyptian families. The series follows a humble young man, Mohamed Shabaan, from the working class, married to Sherouk. Their life seems stable until she announces her pregnancy. The twist: she is not expecting one baby, but seven at once.
This shocking moment is the show’s “natural disaster.” It is not a tragedy, but a lifequake that forces the couple to rethink everything, especially with the huge financial and social consequences.
Writer Ahmed Atef explained that the story is entirely realistic and inspired by true cases.
The series stars Mohamed Sallam, Gehad Hossam El Din, Hamza El Eily, Kamal Abu Raya, and others. “Karsa Tabeya” is directed by Hossam Hamed.
