Egypt’s Treasures Take Center Stage at UNESCO in Paris

 

The Grand Egyptian Museum participated in a distinguished cultural event held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, organized by Egypt’s Permanent Delegation to UNESCO in partnership with Les Amis des Musées d’Égypte.

 

 

 

 

Egypt’s Ambassador to France and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Alaa Youssef, opened the event with welcoming remarks and played a pivotal role in bringing the celebration to fruition.

 

 

 

Following this, Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum, delivered a keynote presentation highlighting the museum’s vision, its exceptional collections, and the international collaborations that have shaped its journey.

 

The gathering united ambassadors, UNESCO officials, cultural specialists, and friends of Egypt to honor the Grand Egyptian Museum as a landmark initiative in presenting Egypt’s heritage to a global audience.
