The Egypt Film Commission attracted significant attention at the 2025 American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles, engaging global film executives, producers, and distributors from across the entertainment industry.

 

 

As one of the world’s most prominent gatherings for film financing, distribution, and production partnerships, AFM 2025 brought together thousands of professionals from more than 70 countries.

 

 

 

Egypt’s participation stood out for its clear message: the country serves as a dynamic, cost-effective, and culturally rich destination for international filmmaking.

 

 

 

 

The Commission’s presence highlighted Egypt’s evolving film ecosystem, encompassing diverse locations and skilled talent, as well as competitive incentives and expanding infrastructure.

 

 

This participation aligns with Egypt’s broader national strategy to strengthen its creative economy, enhance global cultural exchange, and attract foreign investment in the media and entertainment sectors.

 

The Commission also highlighted recent policy developments designed to streamline permitting processes, support foreign crews, and foster long-term creative partnerships.

Egypt Film Commission (EFC) is the only authorized party in charge of obtaining permits & approvals for foreign production companies filming in Egypt.
