The Egypt Film Commission attracted significant attention at the 2025 American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles, engaging global film executives, producers, and distributors from across the entertainment industry.
As one of the world’s most prominent gatherings for film financing, distribution, and production partnerships, AFM 2025 brought together thousands of professionals from more than 70 countries.

The Commission also highlighted recent policy developments designed to streamline permitting processes, support foreign crews, and foster long-term creative partnerships.

Egypt Film Commission (EFC) is the only authorized party in charge of obtaining permits & approvals for foreign production companies filming in Egypt. EFC is a subsidiary of EMPC which is the biggest media and production hub across the Arab region, the Middle East, and Africa.
