Reaffirming its commitment to strengthening Arab and regional media collaboration, the United Media Services (UMS) welcomed a high-level delegation from the UAE’s National Media Office to explore avenues of cooperation and exchange of expertise across the media sector. The visit also focused on supporting the upcoming Bridge Summit, set to take place this December in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of the National Media Office. The summit is a dynamic platform promoting creativity, inclusivity, diversity, and innovation in media.

The meeting featured constructive discussions on advancing media partnerships, particularly in the face of rapid transformations driven by artificial intelligence and information technology that continue to reshape regional and global media landscapes.

UMS Chairman Tarek Nour emphasized that Egypt’s wealth of soft power and wide-ranging expertise—especially in producing drama, entertainment, and media content—positions it at the forefront of shaping the future of Arab media. He stressed the importance of equipping Arab media with greater agility to keep pace with the fast-evolving digital era, while also supporting purposeful initiatives like Bridge.

This collaboration underscores the shared vision of Egypt and the UAE to expand media cooperation and launch impactful initiatives that strengthen the Arab media’s presence and influence on both the regional and international stages.
