Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced today, during a Cabinet meeting in the New Administrative Capital, that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has approved November 1 as the official opening date for the long-awaited Grand Egyptian Museum.
Madbouly directed all ministries and relevant authorities to complete preparations to ensure the museum and its surrounding area are fully ready to present the event in the most impressive way possible.
He emphasized that the inauguration will be a landmark occasion, with high-profile international attendees and a series of accompanying events, celebrating a world-class cultural and tourism icon that showcases the grandeur of Egypt’s civilization and attracts visitors from around the globe.
