In celebration of Alexandria’s National Day, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, has announced that all archaeological sites in the city will open their doors to the public free of charge on July 24.
This includes iconic spots like the Graeco-Roman Museum, the Royal Jewelry Museum, and the Alexandria National Museum.
The initiative aims to encourage public participation in national and cultural celebrations, highlight Egypt’s rich historical heritage, and raise archaeological and touristic awareness—especially among younger generations.
