French President Emmanuel Macron Connects with Egyptian Artists at the Historic French Institute for Oriental Archaeology during his visit to Egypt.
Macron left Egypt on Tuesday evening after a three-day high-level visit to the country.
"After a three-day visit to Cairo and Arish, thanks very much President Sisi..thanks very much to Egyptians for the warm reception, the discussions, our close bilateral relations, and everything we do for the region," Macron said in Arabic in a video he posted on his official X account.
"These three days are in my heart, and you can always count on France," he added.
Macron condemned on Tuesday, the targeting of humanitarian and relief teams in the Gaza Strip.
According to al Qahera news channel, Macron considered the resumption of humanitarian aid to Gaza a ‘top priority.’
The French president stressed that a political solution is the only way to achieve a settlement in Gaza, emphasizing the need for a ceasefire in Gaza as a prelude to launching a political process.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi visited on Tuesday al Arish city, along with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron as part of the French President's high-level official visit to Egypt.
