Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo Receives The Best Teaser Trailer Globally Award at The Global Entertainment Awards

 

In the Algarve region of Portugal, The Fourth Global Entertainment Awards announced that the teaser trailer for "Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo" by Markos Erian has received the Best Teaser Award Globally.

 

 

 

It received the Best Regional Award earlier this year;  in the Middle East and Africa. Making it the first ever Egyptian film teaser trailer to win the global award.

 

The winners from across the world were revealed, including highly acclaimed and audience favourite series, films and games.

 

 

The Global Entertainment Awards honour the role marketing and promotion play in powering the entertainment industry with categories covering trailers, behind the scene material, Key art, and social media campaigns, with works from Asia, Europe, Africa, Pacific, North America, Latin America, and the Middle East. 
 

 

 

Erian expressed his pleasure and gratitude for winning this award for the first time globally! , saying: "I feel incredibly happy, especially since it is the first time for an Egyptian film to reach the finals, when it comes to this award. Last year, I won an award for the teaser trailer of “Hajjan” also alongside Film Clinic at the regional level; Middle East and North Africa. I didn't reach the finals, for there were multiple agencies, entities, and major studios from Europe and America.

 

This year, the number is even higher than past years. The competition was incredibly tough with content from “Mad Max”, “Game of Thrones”, and “Squid Game II”. Despite that, we won the Global Award!"

He added, "When the award was announced, I just couldn't believe it. Indeed, it is an incredible feeling. What makes it more interesting is that the jury includes some of the most prominent figures in the advertising industry from Hollywood and Europe. This accolade

encourages me to unleash the creativity and passion I have for this work ".

 

 

 

"Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo" tells the story of "Hassan", a young man in his thirties who rediscovers himself on a quest to save his dog and best friend "Rambo". He is forced to confront the fears of his past. Hence, "Hassan" seeks to save himself and "Rambo" from an unknown fate after getting involved in a serious incident without guilt. Overnight, his neighbour, Karem, as well as the residents of the neighbourhood, start chasing him. The events also shed light on multiple details in Hassan's life and his relationship with those around him.

 

 

The film is director Khaled Mansour's first feature-length narrative after directing a number of short films that were screened in several international and regional festivals. It is written by screenwriter Mohamed El-Hosseiny, starring rising actor Essam Omar, as his first cinematic experience, Rakin Saad, Sama Ibrahim, co-founder of the musical group Sharmoofers, Ahmed Bahaa, as his first acting experience, Sama Ibrahim, and other young talents and guest stars.

"Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo" is produced by Mohamed Hefzy from Film Clinic and by producer Rasha Hosny, who is making her debut in feature film production. Hosny has also had a successful career in film criticism and programming at several major international film festivals. The film is distributed worldwide by Film Clinic Indie Distribution.
