“Shagar El Lamoon” in a New Clip for “Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo”

The production company of “Seeking Haven For Mr. Rambo” has released a new clip for “Shagar El Lamoon”, which was presented by mega star Mohamed Mounir in 1981, in “Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo” scenes, directed by Khaled Mansour.

 

 

The film is currently screening in Egyptian and Arab cinemas.

 

Sonar Slam released the song as part of “Shababeek” album. It is written by Abdul Rahim Mansour, composed by Ahmed Munib, and distributed by Yehia Khalil’s band.

 

 

 

It has topped the trend after 44 years of its release. Director Mansour decided to insert it within the scenes. Hence, it has become one of the most listened songs on multiple platforms, in coincidence with the film’s screening.

 

Since the film was released in cinemas, several followers and audiences have listened to the song, shedding light on its impact in describing loss and disappointment, through the lyrics of Abdul Rahim Mansour; “Everything is being stolen from me… My life and days and the light of my eyes”.

 

“Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo” is director Khaled Mansour's first feature-length narrative after directing a number of short films that were screened in several international and regional festivals.

 

 

 

It is written by screenwriter Mohamed El-Hosseiny, starring rising actor Essam Omar, as his first cinematic experience, Rakin Saad, Sama Ibrahim, co-founder of the musical group Sharmoofers, Ahmed Bahaa, as his first acting experience, Sama Ibrahim, and other young talents and guest stars.
