Before the start of the Ramadan season, acclaimed star Eyad Nassar won the Best Actor Award for his role in the series "Selat Rahim" at the Arab Drama Critics Awards (ADCA) in its fourth edition.

The award was determined through evaluations by a committee comprising a large number of critics from Egypt and the Arab world. Nassar achieved the highest score across the three evaluation stages, ultimately reaching the final stage and winning the award. He is the first actor to receive the highest rating in the four editions of the awards, as confirmed by the award's administration.

Regarding "Selat Rahim", Eyad stated that this project represented a new challenge for him, as he always seeks adventure in his work. He added, "I don’t feel comfortable staying within my comfort zone. I love taking risks and exploring new experiences. These experiences have made me more interested in presenting topics that resonate with citizens and intersect with people’s concerns. This type of concern is worthwhile. I enjoy delving into human experiences that concern everyone, not just a specific audience."

He continued, "The series addresses an important and complex issue—surrogacy—which has never been fully explored in such depth through a complete work. The story of the series is like a snowball; when we make small decisions in our lives without knowing their consequences, those consequences keep growing until they turn into a tragedy. This is the narrative approach the series took." "Selat Rahem" achieved great success during the last Ramadan season, earning numerous awards, including Best Series, Best Screenplay, Best Young Actress, Best Editing, Best Sound Design, and Best Makeup.

On another note, Nassar continues filming his remaining scenes for the series "Zolem El Mastaba", in which he will participate in the 2025 Ramadan race. He mentioned that this work is entirely different from anything he has done before, emphasizing that most of the events take place in Damanhur, which required him to train in the local dialect of the region, as its residents speak in a distinctive manner with their own unique accent.

The events of the series revolve around the city of Damanhur, where Hassan, whose life intertwines with his friend Hamada, competes with him for the love of Rabia.

When Hassan travels abroad, Hamada finds the opportunity to win Rabia’s heart, using the influence of his brother, Sheikh Alaa, to achieve his personal interests. "Zolem El Mastaba" stars Eyad Nassar, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Basma, Ahmed Azmy, and a number of guest stars.

The series belongs to the 15-episode drama genre and is directed by Mohamed Ali.
