UAE's Ras Al-Khaimah Fine Arts Festival opens submissions

CAIRO – 26 July 2017: The annual UAE's Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival has arrived, opening up submission for February 2018's competition. Entries are being accepted from August 20 until October 20, 2017. There are four categories for submission; film, photography, visual arts, and student work.

The event's vision, according to the official website is to bring together artists from the UAE and internationally in celebration of art and to further artistic development of Ras Al-Khaimah.

A new feature is a sub-category under visual arts, which has a focus on either using recycled materials or telling a story about recycling. A special partnership with the Ras Al-Khaimah (RAK) Waste Management Agency allows artists to easily acquire recycled material.
