CAIRO – 25 July 2017: 53rd session of the Carthage International Festival is presenting 3 concerts from Monday, July 24, to Wednesday, July 26, in Tunisia.

The shows are the Agathe Quartet, French jazz singer; “Made for Hand” show presented by Tunisian artist Mortadha and the singer Asma Ben Ahmed in the artistic museum in Carthage.

53rd session of the Carthage International Festival kicked off on Thursday, July 13, lasting to Saturday, August 19 to show “60 years of Tunisian music”.

Lots of stars such as Sherein Abdel Wahab, Nancy Ajram, Nassif Zeytoun, Amany El Sewisy and Sofia Sadek participated in the festival alongside many other foreign stars.

The concerts of the festival in the last weekend included the American show "Postmodern Jukebox", “Sokarat” show by the Tunisian singer Dorsaf El Hamdani and Iranian singer Aida Noursat and show by children “la reine des neiges l’aventure continue”.

The international festival of Carthage includes jazz and folk music, theatres, films and ballet. It was founded in 1963 by the Tunisian Ministry of Cultural Affairs to produce foreign production in Tunisia and to spread the Tunisian culture in the West.
