Egyptian star Salma Abu Deif's new short film "Inshallah El Donia Tethad" will be screened at Palm Springs ShortFest 2024.

Egyptian star Salma Abu Deif's new short film "Inshallah El Donia Tethad" will be screened at Palm Springs ShortFest 2024.

Egyptian star Salma Abu Deif's new short film "Inshallah El Donia Tethad"  (I Don’t Care If The World Collapses) will be screened at the 30th edition of Palm Springs ShortFest 2024.

 
 
“Inshallah El Donia Tethad” is directed by Karim Shaaban.
 
 

The film centers around a career-driven line producer who has a moral dilemma and at the same time trying to save a one-day commercial shoot from falling apart.
 
 
Abu Deif received a special honor from the Women in Cinema initiative that was held during the events of the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
 
 
 
The event was tailor made to celebrate the accomplishments of lead women in the entertainment industry.
 
 
 
 
Additionally, Abu Deif joined the Women in Cinema panel discussion and spoke about her early beginnings, career breakthroughs and her sources of inspiration.
 
 
 
 
Abu Deif discussed as well the challenges that women face in the entertainment industry, as well as her cinematic debut in 2017, with her role in Sheikh Jackson film.
