Rising British Egyptian star Fady El Sayed has finally wrapped shooting for the third season of the hit series GANGS OF LONDON, continuing his portrayal of the character Faz, which he brought to life in the second season.
 
 
 
The series is a joint American-British production between Sky Studios, AMC Networks, and Pulse Films.
 
 
 
Building upon the events of the second season, the third season of GANGS OF LONDON delves deeper into the world of crime and the ongoing conflicts between gangs and criminal organizations in London.
 
 
 
Elliot Carter, a former undercover police officer now operating as a high-level criminal alongside Dumani, creates chaos when their cocaine shipment is spiked, resulting in the deaths of hundreds across the city.
 
 
 
 
 
In the third season of GANGS OF LONDON, El Sayed continues to bring his character Faz to life, alongside stars from the second season, including Derisou, a nominee for several international awards for his role in the film HIS HOUSE; Lucian Msamati, a BAFTA nominee for Best Actor for his role in the film KIRI; Narges Rashidi, an award-winning actress for her role in the film UNDER THE SHADOW; Michelle Fairley, known for her roles in GAME OF THRONES and NOBODY HAS TO KNOW; Brian Vernel, known for his roles in DUNKIRK and PAPILLON; and Orli Shuka, known for his role in HYENA and SAVE ME.
 
 
 
 
The series is co-written by Gareth Evans — the recipient of numerous international awards for films such as SERBUAN MAUT and APOSTLE — and Matt Flanery, who is well-known for THE RAID 2 and THE RAID: REDEMPTION.
 
 
 
 
Fady El Sayed is a British Egyptian actor who made his debut in the film MY BROTHER THE DEVIL, which propelled his name to instant fame and garnered him a Best British Newcomer Award nomination at the BFI London Film Festival, putting him on the radar of several international filmmakers, who cast him in several international films, including PENNY DREADFUL starring Eva Green, the DOCTOR WHO spin-off CLASS, the TV drama RIVER starring renowned Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, A PRIVATE WAR starring Rosamund Pike, and Danish film DANIEL by director Niels Arden Oplev.
El-Sayed’s most successful year to date is 2020, in which he worked on the TV dramas BAGHDAD CENTRAL, LITTLE BIRDS, and the second season of GANGS OF LONDON.
 
 
 
 
Ever the in-demand actor, El-Sayed recently wrapped up shooting Netflix's Greek mythology dark comedy KAOS. Additionally, he was featured in Apple TV's series SLOW HORSES, starring the Oscar winner Gary Oldman, and HBO's drama series INDUSTRY.
