 “I want terror to fill the hearts and I want whoever is against our Dawah to be brutally killed” said Hassan El Sabah ( Karim Abdelaziz) in "El Hashashin" ( The Assassins) reflecting the real face of terrorism.
 
 
When El Hashashin were weak they pretended to be victims but after they became strong they showed their true colors.
 
In the 11th century in northern Persia, Hassan El Sabah founded a group from the most loyal to the Ismaili community.

 

The group members were ready to sacrifice their lives to achieve their goal and struck terror into the hearts of their enemies from rulers and princes.

 

 

They were able to assassinate a number of influential figures at that time, forming the first secret terrorist group that was later called “El Hashashin.”

 

The group was known for its covert operations and political assassinations during the 11th century and played a significant role in the medieval Islamic world.

 
The massive production series is directed by renowned director Peter Mimi and scripted by veteran writer Abdel Rahim Kamal.

 
The series houses an ensemble cast including Karim Abdelaziz, Fathy Abdelwahab, Nicolas Mouwad, Suzan Najemeldin, Ahmed Eid and Mirna Nour El-Din among others.
 
 
 
The 30-episode series is currently being aired on DMC channel.
