CAIRO – 22 July 2017: Syrian singer Faia Younan will be performing live at the Chinese Garden at the Cairo International Convention Center in Nasr City, July 28. Organized by the Al Ahram advertising agency, the concert will allow audiences to enjoy a live show from Younan after her popularity rose on social media.

Growing up with a family that cherishes arts and culture, Faia moved to Sweden when she was 11 years old where she began to sing and play piano during family gatherings, according to her official Facebook page.

Faia launched her first video titled ‘To Our Countries’ in 2014 on Youtube; the song revolved around war-torn countries and conflict-led nations and reached 1.8 million viewers.

Later, Faia and her sister Rihan were invited to perform live at the Carthage Film Festival following the release of the video. She later released a debut called ‘Ohebbou Yadayka’ (I love Your Hands) in 2015 and has later been participating in concerts through her tours.
