CAIRO - 22 July 2017: Ben Affleck is set still Batman in the upcoming "Justice League" movie, coming out November 17; however it might be the last time he will appear as Batman, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The studio is working on plans to usher out Affleck’s Batman — gracefully, addressing the change in some shape or form in one of the upcoming DC films,” The Hollywood reporter wrote on Friday.

A Warner Bros. source also told THR that Affleck, who was supposed to star and direct upcoming “The Batman” movie, has already stepped away from directing the film and Matt Reeves, the new movie director, “is dropping the script that Affleck wrote with D.C. Entertainment’s Geoff Johns.”

Since the news broke down, Batman fans are wondering who could be the next one? And why did Reeves want to exclude Affleck? It might be because he’s turning 50 next month, and they needed a younger actor, as with what happened with Tom Holland, 21, the current Spiderman. Or is there another reason? It might be announced soon.
