The Tunisian movie “Four Daughters” ( Banat Olfa) is nominated for Oscar’s Best Documentary Feature Film

Good News for Arab cinema, the Tunisian movie “Four Daughters” ( Banat Olfa) is officially an Oscar nominee.

Directed by Kaouther Ben Hania the movie was previously shortlisted in the documentary and international feature categories.

The film looks at a mother who struggles with how her two eldest daughters disappeared after being radicalised by ISIS.

The director introduced two actors who represented them, and allowed the mother and two sisters to interact with the actors.

Superstar Hend Sabry portrays the mother in reenactment scenes. Congratulations to the movie cast for this outstanding global achievement.
