United Media Services, represented by UMS CEO Amr El-Feki Signed A Contract With Acclaimed Egyptian Writer Osama Abdel Raouf El-Shazly To Adapt His Novel ‘Ahed Demiana’ Into A TV Series.

 

In an unprecedented step to increase the reach of Egyptian drama and transfer it to all the countries all over the world, United Media Services concluded its first agreement to distribute and display 1,000 episodes of Egyptian TV drama translated to Hindi in November, 2023.

 
 
This new agreement will open new markets for Egyptian drama, as well as increasing the reach and influence of Egyptian art.
 
 
In this context, Amr El-Feki said that UMS is trying to open new markets for Egyptian drama in countries in East and South Asia as well as South America.
 

Amr El-Feki continued “Egyptian drama is one of Egypt’s soft powers and its spread is extremely important from an economic and cultural standpoint . This is the first time for Egyptian drama to be broadcast abroad, and more steps will be taken in the future to increase its spread.”
