‘Hala Khasa’: Tackling Autism From A Different Perspective

 

 

Egyptian star Taha Desouky lands his first leading role in WATCH IT’s series “Hala Khasa”.

 

 

 

The series houses an ensemble cast including Ghada Adel, Hagar El Sarrag, Hassan Abouelrouss, Weam Magdy, Ali El Sabaa among others. 

 

 

 

 

"Hala Khasa" is scripted by Mohab Tarek, produced by Tarek El Ganainy and directed by Abdelaziz El Nagar.

 

 

 

 

WATCH IT organized the premiere of its latest original on Tuesday, January 2. 
 

 

The first two episodes were released exclusively on WATCH IT on January 3.

 

 

 

 

 Managing director And CEO of WATCH IT Nashwa Gad revealed that Nadim is a real person, he is one of WATCH IT Team.

 

 

Nadim is the lead character of WATCH IT’s latest original series “Hala Khasa”, played by Egyptian actor Taha El Dessouky.

 

 

 

"Hala Khasa sheds light on all the aspects of autistic people" Ghada Adel said.

 

 

 

On the sidelines of WATCH IT’s “Hala Khasa” series premiere Ghada Adel spoke about Amany El Nagar role.

 

 

 

“El Nagar is a famous, successful and very strict lawyer, she is the mother of an autistic child so when the autistic lawyer Nadim ( Taha El Dessouky) joined her law firm she has an inner struggle because he reminds her of her child” Adel said. 

 

 

 

Adel added that she was excited to participate in the series because of the issue it discusses, and that they held sessions with autistic youth and children to understand all the aspects of autism, stressing that the issue of autism is very important.

 

 

 

She further explained that we must pay more attention to autistic people because most of them are very talented and highly intelligent, pointing out that behind the scenes of the series was so funny.

The lead of WATCH IT’s latest original series “Hala Khasa” added that Nadim character is totally different from all the characters he has embodied before. “That what made me excited to play this role”. 

 

 

 

El Dessouky added that WATCH IT always believes in youth talents and he hopes his cooperation with WATCH IT to be a fruitful one.

 

 

 

El Dessouky also spoke about The Elite Stand-Up Comedy saying “There is a great harmony between us and we learn from each other experiences.” About his wishes for 2024 he said “ I hope to learn from all what happened in 2023, don’t forget what we have witnessed and that peace prevails everywhere.”
