American superstar Angelina Jolie said that human rights in the world are a big lie.

Jolie added: “I discovered that these rights and justice are granted to some people and not others.”

Jolie said these declarations in an interview she conducted with Syrian director Waad Al-Khatib as part of the documentary film “We Dare to Dream,” which is scheduled to be shown at the next Tribeca Film Festival, which will be held in June 2024.

Jolie confirmed in the video that she had abandoned the idea of the existence of good people, whether they were specific peoples or countries, since she began working in the humanitarian field, that is, about 20 years.

She added, “Perhaps I found this idea through the events of World War II, and it also meant the existence of clear goals and lines for human rights, and that someone must take action to achieve these rights, which is necessarily the mission of the United Nations.”

Jolie previously condemned the Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza and the killing of thousands of innocent children, highlighting the critical situation in Gaza.

She wrote “This is the deliberate bombing of a trapped population who have nowhere to flee.
Gaza has been an open-air prison for nearly two decades and is fast becoming a mass grave. 40% of those killed are innocent children. Whole families are being murdered. While the world watches and with the active support of many governments, millions of Palestinian civilians - children, women, families - are being collectively punished and dehumanized, all while being deprived food, medicine and humanitarian aid against international law. By refusing to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and blocking the UN Security Council from imposing one on both parties, world leaders are complicit in these crimes.”
