Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Ahmed announces the discovery of colorful wooden, mummies, statues, in a well in Saqqara

 

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Eissa announced that colorful wooden coffins dating back to the Old Kingdom and Middle Kingdom, in addition  to mummies, statues, and artifacts were discovered in a 30 meters deep well in the Saqqara area.

 

 

This important discovery was announced in the presence of Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities and the head of the archaeological mission Dr. Mostafa Waziri.
