Egyptian-Italian mission uncover a large number of pots, amphorae at the Tell Al-Maskhouta site in Ismailia

 

The joint Egyptian-Italian archaeological mission, operating at the Tell Al-Maskhouta site in Ismailia, succeeded in uncovering a large number of pots and amphorae dating back to the late and Greco-Roman Period. 

 

This discovery confirms that Egypt was a center for international trade and intercultural links at that time.
