'John Wick: Chapter 4' movie was released in Egyptian Cinemas

 

 

Throughout 10 years, the international star Keanu Reeves has presented the “John Wick” series of films; the latest was the new part which was screened in international cinemas.

 

The new film “John Wick: Chapter 4” was screened in more than 25 countries, including Germany, Japan, the USA, and France, additionally , it was screened in Egypt, on April 14 in more than 10 cinemas, including Americana Plaza, Cima Arkan, Sun City, City Stars, Galaxy Cinema, Mall of Arabia, Galaxy, Cairo Festival, Renaissance Cinema, San Stefano, Renaissance Cinema, Madinaty, VOX Cinemas, Mall of Egypt, VOX Cinemas, City Centre Almaza, and others.

 

The film was presented on April 19 in all Egyptian cinemas, before being presented in Arab countries. 

 

Regarding the reasons of embodying the character of John Wick over 10 years, he presented 4 prominent parts and loved his character with all its qualities; sense of humour, will, grief, and revenge.

 

Moreover, Reeves stated that he loves the character of John Wick a lot. It is one of his favourite characters, even more than the roles he presented in “Speed” and “Matrix”.

 

 

Reeves also said that the character of John Wick is funny. He stated: “in my opinion, it is a legendry film and I love presenting this role”, pointing out that his age did not stop him from presenting this role. However, shooting some scenes made him feel old. 
 

 

The duration of the new film is two hours and 49 minutes.

 

 

Additionally, the production costs no less than $100 million. Currently, it is regarded as the most prominent film in a series of action films. The film was rated 95% in Rotten Tomatoes. Furthermore, the film received high ratings, reaching 8.5/10 on IMDb. A critic stated: “the film contains multiple imaginative action scenes which are not boring at all. Whoever watches the film will forget about its duration, which is almost three hours and will wish to watch it again. Keanu Reeves spoke 380 words only. Action scenes were highlighted. There were numerous action scenes in the fourth part of the well-known series of films. 

Critics stated that the new part of the series is regarded as a great beginning for Hollywood in 2023. The tickets sales reached almost 67%, compared to the pre-pandemic levels in the past year. This year, the new films have become more consistent and targeted. The previous parts of the film were prominent, including: “Creed III” and “Scream VI”. Tickets’ sales reached 28%, compared to the past year.

It is noteworthy that the film is directed by Chad Stahelski. The film tells the story of John Wick and how figures out how to earn his freedom. Before doing so, he must face a new enemy who is powerful and has alliances around the world. He also figures out that his old friends have turned into enemies. That’s how the exciting and impressive scenes begin. The film stars are Laurence Fishburne, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Skarsgård and Donnie Dean. It is directed by Chad Stahelski.
