Episode 18 of “Gaffar El Omda” series housed a bunch of exciting events, breathtaking incidents and jaw dropping moments.

We finally discovered that Wedad ( Jory Bakr) separated from her husband Sayed ( Ahmed Fahim) by Khul’ without his knowledge and married El Omda family’s greatest enemy  Shawky Fathallah ( Monther Rayahna).

Sayed was beaten relentlessly by Shawky, Naeem ( Essam Elsakka) tried to defend Sayed, but both were attacked by Shawky’s thugs, and on the top of all that Gaffar was arrested because of drugs found in his bag.

Episode 18 is by far one of the strongest episodes of the series, it represents a radical turning point in the series events.

If we can give an Oscar award for the best performance in this series especially and the Ramadan drama marathon in general it will be to Hala Sedky, Essam Elsakka and Ahmed Fahim.

Queen Safsaf aka Hala Sedky is real queen in the kingdom of acting in every sense of the word, she made us laugh throughout the series by her high sense of humor and in today’s episode she touched our hearts by her genuine performance.

The performance of Essam Elsakka was by all means captivating, his facial expressions, body language and voice were all so expressive and ethereal, revealing the amount of anger and the desire to revenge.

Ahmed Fahim embodied the helpless husband, the weak brother and the clumsy man brilliantly.

The maestro of this series is director Mohamed Samy who leaves us every episode wondering and waiting eagerly for what will happen next.

The megastar Mohamed Ramadan aka Gaffar El Omda is the cherry on top of the series, presenting one of his strongest roles ever.
