CAIRO – 19 December 2022: The Grand Theater of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat hosted a musical celebration for the famous Egyptian marimba player Nesma Abdel Aziz.

 

 

 

 

The celebration included a musical segment, during which Abdel Aziz presented a collection of the most famous traditional and contemporary oriental pieces and songs, in addition to a group of Western musical excerpts.

CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization Ahmed Ghoneim explained that this celebration comes within the framework of the cultural and artistic program that the museum organizes periodically, which emphasizes the role of the museum as an educational, communal and awareness institution.

 

 

 

 

After the festivities were over, the museum’s management screened a documentary film about the museum, showing its artistic and cultural activities and various events since its opening in April 2021.
