CAIRO – 7 November 2022: The Ministry of Culture will present a rich cultural and artistic program during the activities of the COP27 Climate Conference currently held in Sharm El-Sheikh.

 

 

 

 

Special pavilions were set as part of the program for traditional and heritage crafts, which include various products from different Egyptian governorates.

 

 

 

 

This in addition to live workshops for cultural industries and a symposium that discusses the methodology of the pioneers of adaptive architecture Hassan Fathy and Ramses Wissa in dealing with the climate. 

 

 

 

 

Moreover, contemporary Egyptian architects will present their projects that contain innovative solutions to confront climate change.

 

 

 

 

A number of artistic concerts, as well as fashion shows of traditional Egyptian costumes, will also be held to acquaint Egypt's guests with the Egyptian heritage and civilization.

 

 

 

 

The General Authority for Culture Palaces is keen, through its folklore troupes, to create a joyful atmosphere for the guests of the COP27, by presenting a variety of shows on the open theaters, streets, and the tourist walkway of Sharm El-Sheikh.
