CAIRO - 17 September 2022: The Antiquities Protection Law included a definition of everything that is antiquities, whether real estate or movable. 
 
The law as well as grants the Prime Minister the right to issue a decision based on the proposal of the Minister in charge of Antiquities Affairs to consider any real estate or movable property of historical, scientific, religious, artistic or literary value. trace.

In the application of the provisions of this law, every immovable or movable property shall be considered as effect when the following conditions are met:
 
 
- To be a product of the Egyptian civilization or successive civilizations or a product of the arts, sciences, literature or religions that existed on the land of Egypt since prehistoric times until a hundred years ago.
 
- To be of archaeological, artistic or historical value as a manifestation of the Egyptian civilization or any other civilization that was established on the land of Egypt.
 
- That the antiquity should be produced or originated on the land of Egypt or has a historical connection to it.
 
- The remains of human races and contemporary organisms are considered as an antiquity that is registered in accordance with the provisions of this law.
 
 
A decision by the Prime Minister, based on the proposal of the Minister concerned with Antiquities Affairs, may consider any real estate or movable property of historical, scientific, religious, artistic or literary value as an antiquity if the state has a national interest in its preservation and maintenance, without being bound by the time limit mentioned in the previous article. In this case, the owner of the antiquity is responsible for preserving it and not making any change to it, from the date of notifying him of this decision by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
