The discovery hints that the remains might belong to one of the lost four solar temples from Dynasty 5, known only in historical sources.

Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri explained that the remains of the discovered building has an entrance made of limestone.

Head of the Egyptian Antiquities Sector Ayman Ashmawy explained that the  remains of the newly discovered building showed that it was made of mud bricks and was partially demolished by Niussere to establish his temple.
