Alexandria Opera House to hold International plays, lyrical works on July 15, 16

CAIRO – 14 July 2022: After Eid al-Adha holidays, the Alexandria Opera House will present a selection of international plays and lyrical works presented by the stars of the Cairo Opera Troupe, in two successive concerts accompanied by the Cairo Orchestra, led by Maestro Mohamed Wahidi, and with the participation of pianist Maya Gifneria.

The concerts will be held on July 15, 16 at 8 p.m. in Sayed Darwish Theater.

It is worth noting that the Cairo Opera Troupe was officially formed in 1964 and performed many of the world's most famous operas ever since. Its members also participated in huge performances on the world's largest theaters and succeeded in forming a fan base interested in opera singing as one of the finest forms of art.
