CAIRO – 27 June 2022: On June 26, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat hosted a group of 50 young Syrian, Yemeni, Iraqi and Sudanese refugees, as part of the visit program organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees at a number of Egyptian museums.

 

 

 

 

This comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, to celebrate World Refugee Day, which falls annually on June 20.

The group was received by a number of museum curators, who accompanied them on a tour inside the Central Exhibition Hall, the Royal Mummies Hall, and the Egyptian Textile Hall.

 

 

 

 

The group was keen to document their visit by taking photos.
