CAIRO – 19 June 2022: On June 18, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion Amr el-Qadi, inaugurated the 14th Forum for Arab Tourism Media, which is currently being held in Cairo under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.

 

 

 

 

The forum was inaugurated in the presence of a large number of influencers and representatives of major Arab media outlets, in addition to a group of Egyptian journalists, media professors and tourism experts.

 

 

 

 

During the opening session of the forum, Qadi delivered a speech that began by welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the importance of the tourism media’s role in promoting tourism destinations and raising tourism awareness among Arab people.

 

 

 

 

 

Qadi also reviewed, through a presentation, the main features of the media strategy for tourism promotion in Egypt, pointing out that it aims to highlight the various Egyptian tourist destinations, its distinct and diverse tourist and archaeological components, its vibrant identity and as an attractive tourist destination in which visitors seek to revisit every year. He also referred to the most prominent activities organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to promote the modern image of Egypt. This is in addition to informing representatives of the Arab media of the efforts exerted by the Egyptian state in developing the Egyptian tourism infrastructure and the new cities it is constructing.

 

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that the forum's program includes field visits for participating Arab media professionals in the city of New El- Alamein, the New Administrative Capital and Hurghada, to witness first-hand the great development undergoing in various Egyptian cities.
