CAIRO – 12 June 2022: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled el-Enani, and Governor of Suez Abdel Majid Saqr, will launch the activities of the first Suez Music and Singing Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture represented by the Egyptian Opera House, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the Tourism Promotion Authority and the Suez Governorate.

 

 

 

 

The festival will be held at the Suez National Museum from June 24 to June 26, and presents six various performances.

 

 

 

 

In a statement, Abdel Dayem thanked Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly for his sponsorship of the festival and many of the activities of the Ministry of Culture, which confirms his belief in the role of soft powers in building society and raising awareness.

 

 

 

 

Minister Abdel Dayem added that the selection of the Suez National Museum to hold the first edition of the festival, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, comes in appreciation of the unique artifacts it houses and emphazies that Egypt's ancient civilization is a source of inspiration for contemporary arts.
