Signed to Abu Dhabi-based independent music company PopArabia, ARXP Cartel released “Styla Jamaiki” across all digital platforms.  Speaking on the release, Spek, PopArabia Founder and President said, “ARXP CARTEL is a trailblazing project in the region but it’s also just infectious music from some of the hottest artists in the game. We’re lining up some great collaborations to come, starting with this first single”
Rooted in its unique approach to unify audiences across the MENA region, ARXP Cartel is an artist collective featuring a rotating line up of the biggest, most buzz-worthy rappers in the region. The collective will release one single at a time, with each collaboration not only capitalizing on the crew members’ domestic fanbases, but also transcending those existing listeners to reach audiences across MENA’s 22 states. Furthermore, ARXP Cartel will tap into opportunities across the globe as the project amasses new fans and joins forces with other international recording artists.
This summer, the collective drops their first single, “Styla Jamaiki” (or ‘her style is Jamaican’), a summertime dancehall club banger. Produced by award-winning dancehall and reggae producer Gary Burke, of Hemp Higher Productions, the single features Algerian rapper/actor Didine Canon 16, Egyptian chart-topper Shahyn, Sudanese, powerhouse Seidosimba, and Syrian/Lebanese rap pioneer Elsam Jawaad. Jamaican dancehall artist Stylo G also adds his authenticity and hard-hitting rhymes to the track.

Mixed by Marcella Araica whose credits include Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Jay Z, the single is bound to keep your speakers pumping.
Didine Cannon stated, “The time is now for the Middle East and North African artists to unite and go global,” while Shahyn added, “There are no borders when making music, period. The region holds many flavors and sounds and with the right exposure, right collaborations and real vision, Arab artists can be mapping out the next generation of global artists”
Dancehall artist Stylo G said, “I heard the record, and felt that it was right up there with the style I love, so it was a no brainer to jump on the track and grow my audience in MENA.”
