CAIRO – 5 May 2022: The American Writers Museum will launch the 5th American Writers Festival on May 15 at the Chicago Cultural Center and the American Writers Museum.

It is a free one-day festival, in which more than 70 poets and writers come together to celebrate the written word.

The American Writers Festival's program of events consists of panel discussions and book signing parties from various fields, from children's books, science fiction, history, biographies, and poetry. In addition, the program includes discussions of student poets, which are sessions aimed at exploring young talents in the attendance of critics.

“The festival is a reflection of American writing that the nation can be proud of. The program for this course is broadly diverse, including the written works that have shaped our history and culture, and allows for a variety of in-depth discussions and topics that visitors of all ages will enjoy,” said Carey Cranston, president of the American Writers Museum.
