Episode two of “Faten Amal Harby” tackled intimate partner violence phenomena.

Egyptian superstar Nelly Karim and Sherif Salama credible performance made us feel the amount of pain some women feel as a result of this negative societal phenomena.

 

As soon as Seif ( Sherif Salama) saw the kitchen window open, he quickly closed it and Faten ( Nelly Karim) tried to object, but he was angry, explaining that the neighbors might look at her.

 
Seif sold the car and told his wife, Faten, that he had sold it and bought a new car. Faten became angry because she was the one who paid for it. Seif told her that she has to obey him because men are superior, Faten blamed Seif with words that angered him so he pushed and beat her in return.
 
 
Karim discusses crucial societal problems in her upcoming series “Faten Amal Harby.
 
The series follows Faten  who finds herself facing a law that may deprive her from her two daughters.
 
She was divorced from her husband after suffering a lot because of him.
 
After her divorce from Seif she believed that life will be stable and free of problems, but Faten is surprised to encounter a personal status law, which may deprive her of her two daughters if she marries another man.
 
Beside Karim, the series houses star-studded cast including Hala Sedky, Sherif Salama, Mohamed el Sharnouby, Fadia Abdelghany among others.
 
” Faten Amal Harby” is written by Ibrahim Eissa, produced by El Adl Group and directed by Mohamed el Adl.
