President of Microsoft Corporation Brad Smith visits Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx

CAIRO – 4 April 2022: On April 3, the Pyramids Antiquities Area received President of Microsoft Corporation Brad Smith accompanied by his family.

They were received by Director General of the Pyramids Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohieldin, who accompanied them on a tour of the area.

Mohieldin said that the visit included a tour of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Great Sphinx Area and the Dream Stele. Smith was impressed by the way the statue was sculpted and its large size.

The visit also included the Panorama Area. There, Smith was keen to take many memorial photos to record his visit, which he described as “unique” and “enjoyable”, expressing his fascination with the treasures he saw in the distinguished archaeological area.
