CAIRO – 24 March 2022: On March 24 at 12 pm, the Egyptian Public Library is organizing a symposium, entitled "Egypt's Public Library: 27 Years of Enlightenment," to celebrate its 27th establishing anniversary.

 

 

 

 

The celebratory activities will begin with the opening of a photo exhibition about the library.

 

 

 

 

The Egyptian Public Library’s building overlooks the Nile in Giza's Dokki district. It is distinguished by its proximity to Cairo University and its affiliated colleges, higher institutes and art museums.

 

 

 

 

The building consists of three floors spanning on an area of 600 square meters, and is surrounded by a garden of 2000 square meters. It is originally a distinctive villa with a special architectural style.
