CAIRO – 15 March 2022: Liwan Art Gallery is holding an art exhibition entitled "Icon of the Egyptian Spirit" for Mohsen Abul Azm, on March 19 at 6 p.m.

 

 

 

 

The exhibition runs until April 28.

 

 

 

 

Mohsen Abul Azm is an Egyptian plastic artist, born on March 22, 1958 in Fayoum Governorate.

 

 

 

 

He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 1981. He worked as a teacher in Saudi Arabia from 1982 to 1996, and then in Egypt's Faculty of Specific Education when he returned.

 

 

 

 

Abu Al-Azm is one of the most important painters to embody the features of the Egyptian neighborhood. He did not paint a picture of its mere external features, he rather formed a complete picture full of details, timings and symbols.

 

 

 

 

Also, Abul Azm participated in a number of private, group, local and international exhibitions.
