CAIRO – 9 March 2022: In the following lines, ET sheds light on the most important world events that took place on March 9.

 

 

 

 

632 - The last sermon (Farewell Pilgrimage) of the Prophet Muhammad delivered on the Day of Arafa on the Mount of Mercy.

 

 

 

 

1908 - Italian club Inter Milan is founded.

 

 

 

 

1919 - The outbreak of the Egyptian revolution against the British occupation led by Saad Zaghloul, known as the 1919 Revolution.

 

 

 

 

2003 - The establishment of the first permanent international judiciary in history to look into war crimes, crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and crimes of aggression.
