Winners of 3rd Arts Awards of Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture & Arts to be announced on March 7

CAIRO – 7 March 2022: On March 7 at 7 p.m., the Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts is organizing a ceremony to announce the winners of the 3rd Arts Awards in the fields of Photography, Sculpture, Art Criticism and Architecture.

This is in addition to the opening of a group exhibition for youth, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, at the El-Gezira Arts Center in Zamalek.

The Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts announced that its board of trustees unanimously approved the nomination of the pioneering plastic artist George Bahgoury for the Grand Prize of Merit in its first edition for 2022, with a value of L.E 100,000.

All the jury committees for the Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts have completed voting on the artworks eligible for the collective exhibition, and the nominations for the 3rd Arts Awards.

Some 1460 artistic and architectural work and critical research from 749 artists, architects and art critics from all governorates of Egypt have submitted for participation in the 3rd Arts Awards which offers prizes amassing to L.E 500,000.
