CAIRO – 16 February 2022: Prince Taz Palace, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund Sector, will host an art exhibition entitled "Africa by its Artists", on February 17 at 7 p.m. The exhibition runs until April 2.

 

 

 

 

Held under the auspices of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, the exhibition showcases the creations of the African artists who participated in the Luxor International Painting Symposium along the years, from the first edition held in 2008 to the ninth edition held in 2016. The artists come from 13 African countries, namely Egypt, Morocco, Mali, South Africa, Libya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Algeria, Cape Verde, Sudan.

 

 

 

 

The works of 76 prominent Egyptian and African artists will also be displayed.

 

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that the Luxor International Painting Symposium is one of the important international events organized by the Cultural Development Fund Sector annually since 2008 in order to support and enrich the artistic movement, and it is witnessing the distinguished and increasing participation of senior artists from different countries of the world.
