CAIRO – 6 February 2022: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem congratulated the child Sajid Mohamed Abdel Fattah Saleh (14 years old) for winning the Young Cultural Ambassador to China Award, organized by the Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo, as part of the celebrations of the Beijing Winter Games.

 

 

 

 

Abdel Dayem said that Sajid is one of the talented children of the National Center for Child Culture, whose works have been submitted and translated to participate in the international competition in China.

 

 

 

 

Furthermore, Abdel Dayem added that winning first place after strong competitions with contestants from 20 countries reflects the Egyptian child's creativity and brilliance. Sajid was discovered by the State Prize of the Young Innovator, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture, and is held under the auspices of Egypt’s First Lady Intisar Amer.

 

 

 

 

The minister of cpulture Inas Abdel Dayem also praised the two girls: Rana Abdel Wahab, who played the musical piece for the song of the Winter Games in Beijing; and Jumana Mohamed, who participated with a poem in Chinese. Abdel Dayem reiterated that such bright children are the future of the Egyptian soft power.

 

 

 

 

This came after the Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo announced that Sajid Mohamed Abdel-Fattah Saleh won the award. He was nominated to the center by Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem.
