CAIRO – 24 January 2022: On January 25 at 6 p.m., the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will hold a symposium entitled "Children's Games in Ancient Egypt" at Al-Sennari Archaeological House.

 

 

 

 

Researcher Tariq Al-Sharif will be speaking at the symposium and will focus on the lifestyle and means of entertainment for children in ancient Egypt, in addition to presenting the history of games in ancient Egypt and how they evolved from simple games to strategic games, all the way to the animated games that require interaction, imagination and skill.

 

 

 

 

This symposium comes within the keenness on spreading awareness and culture, focusing on history and heritage, and enhancing participation.
