Megraya Foundation for Art to screen “Present from the Past” for Kawthar Younnes on Jan. 21

CAIRO – 20 January 2022: On January 21 at 6 p.m., the Megraya Foundation will screen the documentary film "A Present from the Past", in the presence of the film's director, Kawthar Younnes.

This comes as part of the Megraya Cinema Club program.

Following the screening, Mina Yousry, director of the Cinema Club in Megraya, will lead a panel discussion with the film's director.

"A Present from the Past" is a project by director Kawthar Younnes from the Film Institute, and her first documentary film. The film has won many local and international awards, and was screened in a number of international festivals.
