Wahba al-Attar Gallery to hold art exhibition for late artist Mohamed el-Tahan on Jan. 20

CAIRO – 18 January 2022: On January 20 at 6 p.m., Wahba al-Attar Gallery of Fine Arts will inaugurate an art exhibition for the late plastic artist Mohamed el-Tahhan, in the presence of a group of fine artists.

The plastic artist Mohamed el-Tahan was born in 1964. He participated in a large number of collective exhibitions, and held several exhibitions in South Sinai, the city of El-Tur, Sharm El-Sheikh and Dahab.

Tahan won several prizes, including the First Prize in photography in the Plastic Arts Competition of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces in 1991, Critics Award in Ceramics with a Certificate of Appreciation from the 1991 General Exhibition Competition, among many others.

Tahan passed away on December 4, 2021, after a long struggle with illness, at the age of 57.
