CAIRO – 16 January 2022: The French Cultural Center in Alexandria is witnessing the opening of an art exhibition for artist Ghada el-Nagar under the title "Alexandria 1920", on January 16 at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

 

The exhibition runs until January 26.

 

 

 

 

The exhibition includes 40 paintings illustrating Alexandria in the 1920’s, known personalities and places in Alexandria during that era, the events of the infamous story of Raya and Sakina, and the various characters of the story.

 

 

 

 

The exhibition also includes paintings about weddings, musicians and famous coffee shops there in the past, in addition to Alexandrian local costumes.

 

 

 

 

This is the tenth exhibition for the artist Ghada el-Nagar in Egypt and abroad.
